Rishab Nayak
Research assistant
Rishab is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah majoring in biology with a focus on anatomy and physiology. He is interested in pursuing a career in emergency medicine and is currently completing an honors thesis focused on glaucoma pathophysiology. Through his coursework and research training, he is developing a strong foundation in hands-on biomedical skills and translational research.
In the Roy Lab, Rishab studies neurodegeneration in pressure-dependent glaucoma and is assisting with developing and validating a new IOP-based glaucoma model. Outside the lab, he enjoys working out, playing tennis, and hiking.
