Marisa is an undergraduate at the University of Utah, double-majoring in computer science and environmental and sustainability studies. She has experience in software engineering through SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory at Stanford, and robotics.

In the Roy lab, Marisa is strengthening her data analysis and machine learning skills while applying them to computational neuroscience. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors around Salt Lake City.
