Hannah Behymer
Research assistant
Hannah Behymer is an undergraduate Biology student at Brigham Young University Idaho with research experience in neurodegenerative disease, genetics, and molecular biology. Her previous work includes Parkinson’s disease models, gene therapies for dementia, and immune-related gene function in C. elegans.
In the Roy Lab, Hannah works on projects examining critical periods of postnatal retinal development using imaging and molecular approaches.
Outside the lab, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, and snowboarding.
